Our client is looking for a seasoned product oriented Data Scientist to work with playlist and library squads. You will drive experimentation, conduct analysis, write research plans, inform strategies and decisions making extracting insights from vast amounts of data. Above all, your work will impact the way the world experiences music ✨
In this role you’ll be working closely with cross-functional teams of data scientists, user researchers, product managers, designers and engineers to suggest, formulate, and execute data-driven analyses advancing business goals, as well as present the findings to the key business decision makers.
What will you be doing:
-Serve as an internal consultant in continually finding opportunities to improve decision-making through analytical concepts and techniques.
-Handle large and complex analytical projects from ideation and data exploration to implementation.
-Apply analytical rigor and appropriate statistical methods to analyze large amounts of data using advanced statistical techniques.
What we believe will make you shine in this role:
-5+ years of relevant experience and a degree in statistics, mathematics, computer science, engineering, economics or another quantitative subject area.
-Excellent communication and collaboration skills and the ability to explain your work to both technical and non-technical audiences.
-Ability to see the “big picture”, analyze user needs, understand where the gaps lie, and advocate for data-driven business solutions.
-Extensive experience using various analysis techniques, such as linear and logistic regression, significance testing, and statistical modeling.
-Superb technical skills, including proficiency in Python, SQL and/or similar programming languages.
